Bilingual is a build decision, not a plugin you add later

This is where most Egyptian sites go wrong. Arabic is not English with the text flipped. Right-to-left affects layout direction, icon and arrow orientation, form alignment, table columns, and every margin and padding that was written as “left” instead of “start”. Bolt an RTL plugin onto a theme that was never designed for it and you get a site that technically displays Arabic while looking visibly broken to an Arabic reader.

The other half of the problem is structural: the two languages need separate URLs, correctly declared to search engines with hreflang, so Google serves the right version and neither one competes with the other. Done properly, your Arabic and English pages support each other. Done carelessly, they split your authority in half.

Speed is a business problem here

Egyptian visitors are overwhelmingly on mobile, often on connections that are far from ideal. A heavy homepage stuffed with sliders, video backgrounds and six webfonts does not just score badly in a report — it loses customers who close the tab before they ever see your offer. We build to a budget: compressed and correctly sized images in modern formats, only the fonts actually used, and no plugin that does not earn its weight in page load.

WordPress, and when it is the wrong answer

WordPress suits most Egyptian businesses: you can edit it yourself, hiring help later is easy, and it handles Arabic and English well. It is the wrong choice when you need a complex web application with custom logic, or a very large catalogue with unusual requirements. We will tell you when that is the case instead of forcing the tool we happen to prefer.

How long does a website take?

A focused brochure site is usually a few weeks. A bilingual site with an online store takes longer. The single biggest cause of delay is not development — it is waiting for content: text, photos, product details and approvals. Projects where the client has content ready move roughly twice as fast.

Can I update it myself afterwards?

Yes, and you should be able to. We hand over the logins and walk you through editing pages, adding posts and managing products. If you would rather not touch it, we can maintain it — but that should be your choice, not a lock-in.

Do you redesign existing sites?

Often, yes. When a site already ranks, we rebuild carefully and keep the URL structure and redirects intact, because a careless redesign can erase years of search visibility in a single weekend.
